Looking for a fun, family-friendly way to explore agriculture and farm life? Victoria County Farm Bureau invites the community to its Family Farm Fun Day on Saturday, June 7, to meet local farmers, learn about agriculture and interact with farm animals. “Family Farm Fun Day is a great way to experience agriculture with your family and friends,” Jared Hanselman, Victoria County Farm Bureau president, said. “We’ll have several activities for all ages, and we can’t wait to have everyone out to engage with agriculture in such a hands-on way.” Guests can check out farm equipment displays, interact with the farm animals and learn more about life on the farm. The Southwest Dairy Farmers Mobile Classroom will also be on site. It features a live cow and a milking demonstration. “We want families to leave with smiles on their faces and a better understanding of where their food, fiber and fuel come from,” Hanselman said. “This event is all about creating connections, making memories and celebrating agriculture together.” Admission is free. Family Farm Fun Day is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Victoria Community Center located at 2905 E. North St. in Victoria.
